I had the street tacos and Brent had a steak, and the churro dessert was absolutely phenomenal. The first night, we tried El Patio Restaurant, because we wanted to be festive and have Mexican food on our first night in Mexico. You can try one of every desert, order room service and then go to the buffet and see what else is cooking, order burgers by the pool, and grab a delicious fresh coffee or smoothie any time. It makes it so much more relaxing to not think about how much everything costs when making your selections for your meals. The best part about opting for an all-inclusive resort is the food and drinks. What is it about hotel beds? Where can I buy those sheets? It was so cozy that breakfast in bed was a common theme throughout the trip. I took a nice relaxing bath in this giant jacuzzi tub, and the bed was like sleeping on clouds. The room itself was also so comfortable and elegant. I couldn’t believe how beautiful the light was! It was like having a sound machine on! The sunrise and sunset views were also incredible. The sliding doors open up completely from wall to wall, and we were close enough to the ocean to hear the waves crashing from our room. How breathtaking is this view? It was below freezing and snowing, and while it was fun to see the city for the first time, it was kind of miserable to walk around.
